They live in warm weather, soft rainforest rain and they are part of a concert of tiny creatures that will rock you to sleep with their eternal song; "Co-kee!, Co-kee!". The singing frog born in the small Caribbean island of Puerto Rico is now "traveling" the world.
Our Beginnings were humble
During the pandemic lock-down, we began a home renovation project that included some custom furniture pieces.
As the project progressed we discovered some new skills, fine tuned some old ones, and discovered a new passion for woodworking and furniture making. We're a small, family based business focusing on simple, beautiful, and cost effective products.
MEET THE "WOODWORKER"
Dimas started training in computer science and drafting. His dream was to merge the two disciplines which was something that did not exist in the early 80's. To help support his family he went to work right out of high school as retail worker for a national chain, moved into manufacturing as a factory worker for a number of years until he seized an opportunity to become a class "A" truck operator.
An opportunity presented to move into the technology field as a satellite communications technician and later as a computer expert and network administrator. In later years he moved into the insurance business working for one of his former clients. All the while nursing a hobby in woodworking that slowly became his love and passion.
With backgrounds in several industries ranging from manufacturing and transportation, to information technology and medical insurance, we have been around the block (city block, data block and now a wood block).
We're just enjoying the journey. And at the same time, build some original, custom, fine looking furniture pieces.
